ANSWER　NABE（鍋）

European Society is like a Japanese stew (Nabe), with the different ingredients being the different peoples of Europe, the politics being the seasoning, the culture of Europe being the soup, and the economy being the way the stew is cooked.

 

While diversity of ingredients (peoples) in our Nabe is important, the European Nabe is welcoming large amounts of new ingredients (migrants and refugees) and needs some adjustments to keep things tasty.

 

Our work is welcoming these new ingredients by adjusting the politics (seasoning) and helping Japanese companies set up in Europe (changing the cooking): they will hire these migrants and help them into the European economic and cultural fold, keeping the European Nabe a harmonious experience.

 

And after the new ingredients have found a home in this European Nabe, they could take their new skills and to new Nabes (American, Asian etc) with their Japanese companies, or perhaps even without.

因みに私が情報を、隣に座っていたアメリカ人参加者が文章を担当してくれました。
